Calvert County Public Schools (CCPS) and Calvert High School subscribe to many databases for your reference/research needs. Calvert County Public Library (CCPL) and SAILOR Maryland's state Library also subscribe to databases for you to use. Take a look at the databases listed on the sidebar of the Media Center home page.

12. Melissa de la Cruz wrote the popular novel titled Blue Bloods. Using Destiny, our online circulation system, to look up Blue Bloods. How many copies of the book do we own?

NoodleTools
NoodleTools is an awesome bibliography citation composer. You will be using it often throughout this school year and throughout your high school career

Today we will be setting up or updating your NoodleTools account. Your NoodleTools account will be the account you will use this year as well as in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade.

Follow the directions and set up your NoodleTools account. For Calvert High School your personal ID should be your first name and last name. If you had something else for your personal ID please go into account management and update your information. For memory's sake it is highly recommend that you use your Student ID as your NoodleTools password.

17. Write your Name, Personal ID, and Password on the index card that you have been given.

ClassJump
Your teacher's ClassJump site will be an important communication tool for you throughout the school year.

18. Go to http://www.classjump.com/ and create a student user account. Write your ClassJump Username and Password on the index card with your NoodleTools account information.

19. Once your ClassJump account has been created register for your English teacher's class.

Up to you . . . Once registered for your teacher's class you may subscribe for updates. By subscribing you will receive an email eveytime your instructor adds important information for you on their ClassJump site.
