Dance Review Webquest

Your dancing mission, if you choose to accept it, is to create a “dance extravaganza” power point that reviews your favorite areas of dance. The purpose of this project is to research and develop a teaching tool for future dancers to use in their learning of unfamiliar forms of dance.
Task
On a whole, you will be required to define, give examples, name important founders, list choreographers, and record specific vocabulary for each genre of dance. The following is a more specific example of your task:
Genres: Ballet, Modern, Hip-hop, Jazz, and Tap
Ballet

1. Define
2. History (major schools, founders, etc.)
3. Famous choreographers and dancers of this genre (explain thoroughly)
4. List 10-15 specific vocabulary words that represent this dance genre

· Basically, you will be creating a power point that is applicable to all levels of students and convey an adequate amount of information about each dance form.
